FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a hire field?

The Dog Field is a fully managed enrichment service. Dogs are collected, supervised by trained staff, and returned home. Owners do not attend.

How is this different from a dog walker?

This replaces a standard walk with structured enrichment.

Sessions are trainer led and designed to build engagement, confidence and appropriate social skills, not simply provide exercise.

Do owners stay during sessions?

No.

Sessions are trainer-led and structured. This allows us to maintain calm group dynamics, consistency and safety.

How many dogs are in each session?

Sessions typically include 8 to 10 dogs.

Numbers are carefully managed to ensure structure, appropriate interaction and individual attention within the group setting.

Is this suitable for nervous or reactive dogs?

Nervous dogs can often benefit from a structured, calm group environment where confidence is built gradually.

Dogs with strong reactive behaviours are unlikely to be suitable for this group format. All dogs will be assessed before joining to ensure the environment is right for them and the existing group.
